Type your text and copy it in more than 20 styles: bold, italic, script, gothic, bubbles, small caps and more. Paste the result into your Instagram bio, name, captions, comments or Stories. It also works on TikTok, X and Facebook.
Letters with accents and some symbols stay unchanged, because Unicode has no styled version of them.
How it works
Instagram does not let you change fonts in your bio or captions. This generator swaps each letter for a Unicode character that looks like a styled letter. Unicode is the standard every phone and computer uses for text, so the styled letters show up for your followers without any app.
Where you can use these fonts
| Place | Works | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Bio | yes | keep one styled line, such as your name or a headline |
| Name field | yes | your @username can only use plain letters, numbers, periods and underscores |
| Captions and comments | yes | style a word or a short line, not the whole text |
| Stories | yes | paste into the text tool |
Tips for readable text
- Style a few words, not whole paragraphs. Long styled text is harder to read.
- Screen readers read many styled letters one by one or skip them. Keep important information in normal text.
- Search inside Instagram matches normal letters. If people should find you by name, keep your name in normal text in the Name field.

Common questions
Are these fonts safe to use on Instagram?
Yes. They are standard Unicode characters, the same kind of characters as emoji, so you can paste them anywhere Instagram accepts text.
Why do some letters not change?
Unicode has no styled version of letters with accents, such as é or ñ, so they stay as they are.
Do styled fonts count as more characters?
They can. Styled letters are special Unicode characters and Instagram may count some of them as two, so leave a little room in your 150 character bio.
Can I use these fonts in my username?
No. Usernames only accept letters, numbers, periods and underscores. Use the styled text in your Name field and bio instead.
